Ford to Launch a New Diesel-Powered Super Duty Truck in 2007
With its superiority in developing powerful pickup trucks, Ford Motor Company has recently announced that they will introduce a new diesel version of its Super Duty pickup in the first quarter of 2007.
Ford cut down their truck production this year because of low sales due to U.S. interest rates and the increasing gas prices. Ford said the launch of the heavy-duty, diesel-powered pickup will be a payback for that matter.
The diesel-powered 2008 Super Duty truck is a member of Ford's F-Series pickup truck lineup.
The Super Duty truck is equipped with a new 6.4-liter Power Stroke diesel engine, larger than the 6.0-liter V8 engine in the current model and will become the first diesel engine in the U.S. to feature a high-precision fuel injection system that allows the engine to operate quietly, with low emission, and improved fuel efficiency.
Ford fans won't wait too long because Ford said they will unveil the all-new diesel-powered 2008 Super Duty truck in Dallas Texas State Fair in September 28. The 2008 Ford Super Duty truck will roll out in U.S. markets in early 2007. While waiting for the new Super Duty truck, Ford owners can check for updates of their Ford parts at Auto Parts Inner.
