Mitsubishi's "Princess Kitty" edition

Mitsubishi’s

Now isn't that a cute car? And very Japanese indeed!

Mitsubishi Motors tied up with Sanrio to release the Mitsubishi i Hello Kitty "Princess Kitty" edition in Japan. This is certainly a one of kind vehicle as we seldom see a car with a pink finish much less a cartoon character inspired one.

For its exterior, a Hello Kitty trademark ribbon logo is applied to the roof and front doors, while the rear doors get a "Princess Kitty" graphic bearing the adorable cartoon character's face. The back window also gets a large Hello Kitty face decal and a matching pink paint is applied to its wheels. Its interior also bears various Hello Kitty designs including the seat covers and even the headrest covers are the shape of Hello Kitty's head.

The car is a 2WD with 4-speed automatic transmission, powered by 660cc turbocharged MIVEC 3-cylinder and it gives out 64 horsepower.

The "Princess Kitty" edition will be displayed from July 25-31 at the Mitsukoshi department store located at Tokyo's Nihonbashi district. Among the interested buyers that register, only one person gets to drive home this unique vehicle which is priced at ¥2,100,000 (or a little over $18,200 USD) wherein ¥200,000 of that will go to Japan’s UNICEF.

Mommies out there should better be ready as your little princesses will surely insist that you buy this car. But since only one person will be lucky enough to buy the car, you might as well start customizing your own vehicle with girly designs and get Mitsubishi accessories from Auto Parts Inner.
