Is it goodbye for the Chevrolet TrailBlazer?

The car buying attitudes of many consumers had been greatly impacted by the soaring of fuel prices. As a result more and more consumers are opting for a much smaller vehicle that can offer better fuel economy. It is therefore not surprising why SUVs are loosing its appeal to many car buyers.
GM which is one of the largest automaker has changed its course of plans in terms of vehicle production to better adapt to the demands of the automotive market. The company will cease production of the Chevrolet Trailblazer in the year 2010 when Chevrolet gets a more carlike SUV as a replacement.
Maybe the Trailblazer is one impressive SUV especially in terms of better handling and performance but GM seems very much aware that a truck-based SUV like it may not be what many consumers need right now.
GM will still however cater to SUV demands as they plan on producing a smaller Hummer instead and other SUVs that has carlike qualities and are more fuel efficient than traditional SUVs. Also by 2009 GM officials confirmed that they will offer 14 so-called crossovers (CUVs).
The TrailBlazer maybe nearing its end soon but TrailBlazer parts will never run out from Auto Parts Inner. It has been consistent in providing even hard to find parts for various vehicles.
